Do you love listening to and sharing music online? Do you appreciate the art of creating a music mix where the songs flow together in a logical order? EveryonesMixtape.com is a website where you can create, edit, share, and listen to virtual mixtapes. According to Everyone’s Mixtape:
Everyone’s Mixtape’s celebrates the art of creating mixtapes. You can add to an existing mix, or start one of your own. Share with the world, your friends, or that girl from science class. Everyone’s Mixtape is not about adding songs and hitting shuffle. It’s about the time you looked at a cassette’s length as a challenge. About the time you stayed up most of the night making sure all the tracks flowed from song to song. It’s about the time your heart skipped a beat when the boy from science class handed you your first mixtape. It’s more than a playlist.
Music can be added from YouTube, Vimeo, and Soundcloud.

Do have a hard time deciding what music to play when you’re planning a party? Do you wish there was an easy way to get input from your guests so that everyone would get to hear at least one song that they like? AnthmApp.com is a free app that lets your guests control a single playlist by adding songs and by voting songs up or down. According to Anthm:
Anthm is an app that lets people control the music in the places they go. Here’s how it works. Lets say you have friends over. Plug your device into your speakers and host a party. Your friends can join your party and everyone can add music into ONE playlist. The music comes from Rdio’s library so you and your friends can pick from millions of great songs. It’s pretty much a jukebox in your hand, but unlike a jukebox you and your friends can vote on the music in the playlist. Vote songs up to hear them sooner, vote them down to take them off the playlist.
Anthm is currently available for iPhone. It is a relatively new app so expect to see support for other devices and new features added in the future. Anthm also has a blog.

Have you tried to meet people online but found it difficult to find people who really share your interests? Do you consider your taste in music to be one of the key things that define you as a person? Tastebuds.fm is a dating website and an online social network for people who love music, that connects people based on shared musical taste. According to Tastebuds:
We’ve always been interested in the idea that music taste can say a lot about a person and that for some people it is an important factor when choosing a potential partner… We started Tastebuds to explore this idea. We’ve found that for many of our users this is indeed something they place an emphasis on in their own experiences. At the very least it’s an interesting common ground to spark a conversation with someone which can be just as good a starting point as the fact that you both like red wine and walks along the beach.
Your music interests and likes can easily be imported from Facebook and Last.fm, or they can be entered directly. You can get started by entering just three artists. Tastebuds also has a blog and discussion forums.
Today’s Website of the Day was suggested by Alex Parish. Thanks Alex! We are always on the lookout for great new sites to feature, so if you have a favorite click the “Suggest” button, fill out the form, and tell us about it.

Fellody.com is a social networking website that analyzes your tastes in music and helps you find new friends who share those same musical tastes. According to Fellody:
Think about it, music is one of the most influencing parts of our lives. It determines our (dress) style, our political view and often even our friends. Some say ‘opposites attract’, we say ‘not when it comes to music’ …Fellody is a social networking service that connects you with people who share your taste in music. It’s quite simple: our system compares your taste in music with all the other members on fellody.com and there we go: you got match! …Find your musical counterpart and start meeting new people today.
Fellody can use either iTunes or Windows Media Player to determine your music tastes. Things that you listen to more often are weighted heavier then things you listen to less often, and if there is music you’re embarrassed about you can tell Fellody not to use it at all.
