Do have questions you need answered by an expert but aren’t sure where to turn? Or perhaps you’re an expert on a specific topic and would like to help others out by answering their questions? Stack Exchange.com is an online network of 85 (and counting) question and answer websites, where you can ask and answer questions on just about every topic imaginable. According to Stack Exchange:
Stack Exchange is a fast-growing network of over 80 question and answer sites on diverse topics from software programming to cooking to photography and gaming. We are an expert knowledge exchange: a place where physics researchers can ask each other about quantum entanglement, computer programmers can ask about JavaScript date formats, and photographers can share knowledge about taking great pictures in the snow… You wouldn’t shout out a calculus question in a football stadium, right? You’d go to the math department of a university. That’s why instead of allowing questions on any topic, we bring together individual communities of experts on very specific topics.
Site categories include: All, Technology, Science, Recreation, Culture, Life, Arts, Business, and Professional. Answers to questions are voted on by the Stack Exchange community so the best answers are always near the top. Answers can also be edited much like Wikipedia. Some of Stack Exchange’s sites also have blogs and newsletters you can subscribe to. The main site has a blog as well.

Do you have a tough decision to make that you just can’t seem to make up your mind about? Do you have a thought-provoking conundrum that you would love to hear other peoples opinions on? TheReckoner.net is a website where you can post yes or no questions and let the people of the internet decide through voting and comments. According to The Reckoner:
Post your intractable ‘yes or no’, ‘this or that’, binary questions on The Reckoner, and the world will answer it once and for all. Give your decision-packed life the karate chop of democracy that it needs! …For those of you who just want to spectate and vote, go nuts! If The Reckoner can brighten one lunch break, settle one bar argument, or prevent one fistfight in the parking lot of a Denny’s, it has served its purpose.
Not all questions get approved so be sure and make yours interesting. Approved questions are open for one week for voting and comments. You can browse both open and finished reckonings. You can log in with either a Facebook or a Google+ account. The Reckoner also has a blog and a podcast.

Do you have questions? Would you like some answers? Do have specialized knowledge or expertise that you could share by answering questions related to your field? Quora.com is an online database of information, where you can ask, answer, and browse questions on just about any topic imaginable. According to Quora:
Quora is a continually improving collection of questions and answers created, edited, and organized by everyone who uses it. The most important thing is to have each question page become the best possible resource for someone who wants to know about the question. One way you can think of it is as a cache for the research that people do looking things up on the web and asking other people. Eventually, when you see a link to a question page on Quora, your feeling should be: “Oh, great! That’s going to have all the information I want about that.” It’s also a place where new stuff–that no one has written about yet–can get pulled onto the web. People use Quora to document the world around them. Over time, the database of knowledge should grow and grow until almost everything that anyone wants to know is available in the system. When knowledge is put into Quora, it is there forever to be shared with anyone in the future who is interested.
Quora also includes a mobile version so you can easily get your questions answered on the go.
