Do you have a life long goal? Is there something big you want to accomplish in your lifetime? Would like to be held accountable by making your goal public? BeforeIDieIWantTo.org is an art project you can view online where people from all over the world write down one big thing they would like to accomplish before they die on Polaroid photos of themselves. According to Before I Die I Want To:
The Before I die I want to… project was inspired by a combination of factors: (1) the “death” of the Polaroid, (2) a psychologist’s tool called safety contracts, and (3) a passion to get people to think about (and act upon) what is really important in their lives through this simple, straight-forward question… One part cultural study, another part an encouragement to reflect on priorities and take action on desires, the Before I die I want to… project will create a new dialogue in the realm of sociological art. The project aims to urge people towards thinking about and fulfilling their life goals by asking them to make a promise to themselves and to the photographer.
If you would like to participate in the project you will need a Polaroid camera and film. You can contact the project by email for details and a release form. Participants will be emailed in several years and asked to write a short follow-up about their success or progress made towards reaching their goal.

Do you have creative kids that are always drawing pictures or making things? Would you like to encourage them and show your support for their creativity and ingenuity? Could you use a better place then the fridge to show off their creative projects? DIY.org is an online community and an app for creative kids that lets them keep a portfolio to store and share all the cool things they’ve created. According to DIY:
DIY is a good first app and online community for every kid. It’s allows kids to collect everything they make as they grow up and have a place to share it. We’ve all seen how kids can be like little MacGyvers. They’re able to take anything apart, recycle what you’ve thrown away — or… build their own cardboard arcade. This is play, but it’s also creativity and it’s a valuable skill. Our idea is to encourage it by giving kids a place online to show it off, so family, friends and grandparents can see it and easily respond. Recognition makes a kid feel great, and motivates them to keep going. We want them to keep making, and by doing so learn new skills, use technology constructively, begin a lifelong adventure of curiosity, and hopefully spend time offline, too.
DIY is designed for kids age 6 and up but can be used by younger kids with a little parental help. Parents have their own dashboard to follow their kids activities. DIY has an app for iPhone and iPod Touch.

Could you use a vacation? Do you only have one day free but still want to get away and have an adventure? Perhaps a good day trip is in order? DayZipping.com is a website with over 1000 great ideas for day trips starting in cities all over the world. According to DayZipping:
Catering to argonauts, adventure travelers and everyday explorers with a schedule to keep, DayZipping was founded by self-christened conquistadors. We’re hopelessly stricken by hodomania, and we’re out to provide a startlingly easy answer to an eternal question: “What shall I do today?” We’re frightened by the thought of exhaustive week-long itineraries, and we’re guessing that you too would prefer to take vacations — and life in general — one day at a time. Our intentions are twofold: we’re out to make exploring your own backyard a lot more exciting, while also giving you quick and painless access to an ever-expanding library of trips in places that life may take you. Who knew flying by the seat of your pants could lead to so much fun?
Day trips can be browsed by location and sorted by popularity, price, or distance. You can also sort by category which may include (depending on the city): Adventure, Art & History, Entertainment, Family Friendly, Food & Drinks, Nightlife, Outdoors & Nature, and Shopping. DayZipping has an app for Android.
